Mooresboro is a town in Cleveland County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 311 at the 2010 census. Mooresboro was settled in the 1780s, it was incorporated as a town in 1885, and its charter was repealed in 1943. It was named for Lem Moore, an early settler.
