Playhouse square visitors have a wide range of outfits. Of you are sitting in the dress circle you should wear dresses , suits, etc. but business casual would work. Everywhere else doesn’t matter. I like to wear a dress, but have worn capris. Folks wear shorts and jeans too. Also might depend on if you are planning to eat someplace fancy.
First timers visiting the Playhouse real soon. Are there any decent places to eat very near, not to expensive. Asking for any other advice you might have

Hofbrauhaus sits right next door to the parking garage. They serve great German food. I also enjoy Corbo's bakery which is right next to the theaters for a sweet treat and take out. I normally pack a cooler in my car so I can take some home after the show.
