Loved walking around the grounds of the castle. Fantastic views in 360 degrees. Quite a tough climb up from the town. Fantastic value especially buying a combined ticket with the Alcazabar.Full review by hors82

Sorry but cannot help as only walked. However there did seem to be plenty of parking spaces down on the water's edge near the town hall

From the fortress at the bottom of from the castle at the top (much easier). An easy path to follow but slippy when hot.

Is it possible to get a taxi to the top of the Castillo and walk down to the alcazaba? Would this be a difficult walk? Thanks

Yes taxi or hop on/off tour bus stops there. Walk down is steep but gentle, go at own pace. Best way to do it in my opinion.
