Former President Barack Obama turned down role in ‘Severance’
(CNN) – The second season of Apple TV’s popular show “Severance” came close to having a presidential cameo. Ben Stiller, who is an executive producer and director on the show, revealed to Jimmy Kimmel that he asked former President Barack Obama to appear on the show. Stiller said the role would have been the voice of the Lumon building.

President Barack Obama turned down a voice role in Severance - and he did it in the most Obama way possible. "I get an email back from President Barack Obama. ‘Hey Ben, big fan of the show, love Season 1, can’t wait for Season 2. Don’t think I have time in my schedule to make this happen,'" Stiller shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
