A spokesman for London Fire Brigade said it is responding alongside the Metropolitan Police to reports of a person scaling the Palace of Westminster.

Emergency services have been called to the Palace of Westminster after a man holding a Palestinian flag climbed up Big Ben tower.

Police and the fire service were called after a late-night car crash. An update from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had been alerted to an incident, involving a car, at Bromfield, Ludlow, shortly after 2am. One crew from Craven Arms was sent to the scene, along with an incident command unit from Tweedale.
