Hoda Kotb appeared on the Today show, surprising viewers and maybe even a few of her co-stars. She departed as an anchor from NBC’s morning program earlier this year, after seven years as a main anchor and 18 years hosting Today’s fourth-hour program.

It’s been two months since Hoda Kotb said goodbye to Today, and the exit inspired an exciting new project. During the “Pop Start” segment on the Monday, March 10, episode of the morning show, Carson Daly announced that Kotb,

"You get one life, that's all," Hoda said while discussing her latest book, "Jump and Find Joy." "That's it. It's ready for the taking, but it takes a jump."
