The film follows Nancy Vandergroot, played by Nicole Kidman. Her picture-perfect life with her community pillar husband and son tumbles into a twisted tale in the charming Michigan town.

The intriguing thriller starring Nicole Kidman will have a special screening March 24 in the west Michigan title city where a portion of the film was shot. Director Mimi Cave ("Fresh") will attend the event at the historic Knickerbocker Theater and appear at a question-and-answer session to be moderated by Holland's mayor,

“Holland” stars Kidman, Matthew Macfadyen and Gael García Bernal. The film is set in Holland and was partially filmed at Windmill Island Gardens. A trailer was released Feb. 25 and shows depictions of several Holland locations and events, including Holland High School, Windmill Restaurant and Tulip Time.
