Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman on Monday said Lyle and Erik Menendez must fully acknowledge lies they told about the shotgun murder of their parents 35 years ago before he would support their release from prison.

Erik and Lyle Menendez are seeking to be resentenced and released from prison for the 1989 slayings of their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez

The district attorney of Los Angeles County said Monday that he does not support the resentencing of Lyle and Erik Menendez, the brothers who admitted to killing their parents at their Beverly Hills home in 1989.
