Texas baseball has an opportunity to score its second series sweep of the season when it finishes its three-game set with Santa Clara on Sunday. The Longhorns (12-1) have ridden strong pitching performances to victories in the first two games of the series.

A converted reliever, Spencer has pitched into at least the fifth inning and held the opposition to one run or fewer in every one of his outings for the Longhorns (11-1). He has whiffed 29 batters in 21 innings of work.
