Annie goes after a female outlaw to clear her own reputation when the outlaw poses as the famous marksman in her rampage through the territory.

who turns out to be young Annie Oakley. Result: Annie is hired for Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show (which is faithfully re-enacted in the film). She's tutored in showmanship by champ Toby Walker.

Annie and Lofty set out to prove the man's innocence. A gang of hired killers rides into Diablo. Lofty believes that they're in town to murder a state senator with powerful enemies in the capitol.
