They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. Laura is survived by her husband, Erne; their wonderful Chihuahua, Star; her brothers, Blaine and Paul Lutz; and four nieces and four nephews.

He worked 39 years for the Union Pacific Railroad. Randy married Laura Carruth on June 22, 1978, in the Ogden Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They raised five children.
