More than 15 years after leaving USC, Pete Carroll is still coaching Trojans. Earlier this week, the Las Vegas Raiders, who hired Carroll as their new head coach in January, re-signed safety Isaiah Pola-Mao to a two-year deal worth up to $8.45 million.

Fans of the Trojans recall Carroll playing a two-running back system mixed with NFL passing philosophies. Then a defense that watched a cat-quick front four set the tone. Raiders general manager John Spytek, however, doesn't envision Carroll's Raiders team to look like the 'Hawks or Trojans.
