By Brad Brooks BOULDER, Colorado (Reuters) -Over 1,000 protesters gathered outside a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration building in Boulder, Colorado, on Monday, decrying Trump administration layoffs of what two current employees said were upward of 10% of scientists there.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration workers are protesting in Silver Spring, Maryland, as the Trump administration moves to cut hundreds of jobs. CBS News' Rob Marciano reports.

Protesters said the cuts could have devastating impacts in severe weather situations and in industries like agriculture that depend on forecasting.
