Arsenal became the first team in Champions League history to score seven goals away from home in a knockout round fixture.

Arsenal had failed to get a goal in two games prior to Tuesday’s Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven. Then, much like London buses, seven came at once in a record-breaking performance.

If Arsenal were to beat one of the Madrid clubs, they would play either PSG, Liverpool, Club Brugge or Aston Villa in the semi-finals. Liverpool and PSG go head-to-head in the last-16 and the winner of that will be the strong favourite to reach the last-four and set up a potential clash with the Gunners.
