A Texas judge granted an order to prohibit medical services after a midwife was accused of providing abortions.

Paxton said that Maria "Dr. Maria" Rojas is a known midwife in Northwest Houston and was taken into custody in Waller County.

A temporary restraining order was filed against Maria Margarita Rojas and her abortion clinic facilities in the Houston-area for allegedly providing illegal abortions, announced Texas AG Ken Paxton.
