Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes hosted attorneys general from Minnesota, New Mexico and Oregon Wednesday night to hear concerns from Arizona citizens affected by federal job cuts and spending freezes.

As federal funding freezes continue to impact communities across the country, attorneys general from Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico and Minnesota are hosting a virtual town hall.

The Arizona Attorney General, along with AGs from several other states, held a community impact hearing Wednesday night on the Trump administration's DOGE efforts to cut back on spending.

Foul play is not suspected, however authorities did not release any details of the circumstances of their deaths and say an investigation is ongoing.

Only Florida has a higher per-capita rate of larceny than New Mexico, according to a survey of all 50 states by loqate.com. Coming in third, fourth and fifth are Oregon, Colorado and Washington.
