In an update to investors, Embraer has disclosed that its board has approved another four-year development-pause of the E175-E2, the only E2 model STILL not in production. This is essentially due to issues surrounding scope clauses in the United States.

While the E175-E2 remains stalled, the company's E175 backlog sits at 163, Aviation Week Network Fleet Discovery shows. The older model's popularity, combined with increasing interest in the current-generation models, has Embraer's backlog sold out through 2026.
