While it's a young player in the regional flight market, Embraer has been quick to make a name for itself. But there's a reason it's E2 jets aren't in the U.S.

In an update to investors, Embraer has disclosed that its board has approved another four-year development-pause of the E175-E2, the only E2 model STILL not in production. This is essentially due to issues surrounding scope clauses in the United States.

ERJ's total revenues in the fourth quarter of 2024 beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 5.8%. The top line increases 17% from the year-ago level.

Embraer expects to increase aircraft deliveries by up to 18% this year, it said on Thursday, reaching as many as 240 commercial and executive jets as it continues to lift output to meet strong demand.

Embraer is ruling out launching any new aircraft this decade as it zeroes in on maturing research and development studies and building cash reserves.

Embraer rose to its highest level in more than 17 years after posting better than expected Q4 adjusted earnings and revenues, and guiding for increased aircraft deliveries by as much as 18%.

SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Embraer expects to increase its aircraft deliveries by up to 18% in 2025 from the previous year, it said on Thursday, reaching as many as 240 commercial and executive jets as it continues to lift output to meet strong demand.

While the E175-E2 remains stalled, the company's E175 backlog sits at 163, Aviation Week Network Fleet Discovery shows. The older model's popularity, combined with increasing interest in the current-generation models, has Embraer's backlog sold out through 2026.
