It’s not every day that a commercial airplane is transformed into a “private” plane — but two Utah students got to see what it’s like when that does happen. Natalie Wolfley and Savannah Sargent were the only two passengers on a Southwest Airlines flight out of Salt Lake City International Airport on Friday.

A millennial woman who had been single her whole life met her first boyfriend in her 40s – after he messaged her on TikTok. Mia Chard, 42, said she had tried to find romantic connections in her younger years, but it never worked out.

While checking their bags at Salt Lake City Airport, a Southwest employee had reportedly informed the students that they had a “chartered plane,” which they initially took as a joke. “We were so confused and we just thought he was kidding because that never happens,” Sargent told ABC4.

Sometimes, airlines even try to get people to cancel their travel plans, but it was the complete opposite for two friends in Salt Lake City. It was the typical procedure: check luggage, go through security and wait at the gate. When it was time to board the flight though, the only ones to stand up were Natalie Wolfley and Savannah Sargent.

It was so cool. It was a really fun experience,” Natalie Wolfley said. “Obviously, once in a lifetime, probably — I don’t know if I’ll ever have that kind of
