Coaches around the Big Sky Conference are filling out and submitting all-conference ballots for the just-concluded men’s and women’s basketball seasons and, as usual, there will be some tough votes to cast.
Weber State women’s basketball overcame missed free throws, shooting struggles and surrendering a big overtime run to steal a 68-67 win Monday night at Northern Colorado, giving the Wildcats 10 Big Sky victories for a fourth-place finish.

None of Idaho’s points were more impactful than the four Mitchell scored 25 seconds into overtime when he was fouled by Weber State’s Trevor Hennig while sinking a 3-pointer. Mitchell also collected the free throw to give the Vandals a quick 76-72 lead in the extra period.
