San Francisco returns wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Trent Taylor for the 2025 campaign. But, with Samuel officially out of the picture, the 49ers may be looking to make a free agent splash at wide receiver now.

With the 49ers prepared to honor Samuel’s trade request, teams will surely be lining up to try to acquire a receiver of his quality. He and Rams receiver Cooper Kupp are likely the two best receiving options available via trade this offseason.
