The Cowboys and DT Osa Odighizuwa agreed to an $80 million contract extension on Tuesday just before the NFL franchise tag deadline.

The Cowboys view the defensive tackle as an integral piece to their future and still need more help at his position.

Osa Odighizuwa is sticking with the team that drafted him four years ago. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Odighizuwa and the Dallas Cowboys agreed to terms on a four-year, $80 million contract on Tuesday to avoid the franchise tag.

The Dallas Cowboys have said they want to lock down superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons on a long-term contract extension. Despite public speculation surrounding his future, there hasn't been much (if any) in-house concern about a potential breakup.
