King Charles hailed the work of the Commonwealth in bringing countries together as he and Britain's senior royals gathered at London's Westminster Abbey on Monday for annual celebrations for the international organisation he leads.

The multicultural service features music, poetry, dance and readings drawn from across the globe, including special performances by Joan Armatrading and members of the Kanneh-Mason family among others. Sonali Shah interviews special guests and those participating in the service.

Multiple members of the Royal Family are set to gather in London today for the annual Commonwealth Day Service. The event will take place at Westminster Abbey and will focus on the theme ‘Together We Thrive’, which celebrates the spirit of the Commonwealth.
