Though only out for a grand total of four days, Monster Hunter Wilds has sold an astonishing 8 million copies. That’s according to Capcom, reporting that the monster hunting action RPG has become the company’s fastest selling title ever.

Despite serious performance problems on PC, the new Monster Hunter is a big hit. Capcom says Monster Hunter Wilds sold more than eight million copies in its first three days of release, making it the fastest game in Capcom history to reach that oddly specific milestone.

Monster Hunter Wilds is a massive critical and audience success for Capcom, and now we have some numbers to quantify that.
