San Diego Comic-Con expands globally, with Málaga hosting the first international edition, marking a new chapter for pop culture in Europe.

Comic-Con International ( SDCC) is setting sail for Málaga, Spain. Through an agreement facilitated by IMG Licensing, the acclaimed event is traveling outside the U.S. for the first time. A European debut is slated for September.

Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and R2D2 helped celebrate the unveiling of the first official SDCC-licensed event outside the U.S., set to take place in Andalucía in late September.

San Diego Comic-Con is expanding with an international spin-off that will be hosted this year in Malaga, Spain. The event will run from September 25 to 28 and will be the first official San Diego Comic Convention licensed event outside the United States.
