The funding will help accelerate the global expansion of Darwinbox, a mobile-first and AI-enabled human capital management platform serving over 1,000 enterprises worldwide including Adidas and Starbucks.

Darwinbox raised $140 million in a round led by KKR & Co. and Partners Group AG as it deepens its US presence and gears up for a stock-market debut.

The investment positions Darwinbox well to deepen its technology leadership and accelerate its international expansion plans

The round—largely secondary with a small primary component—also saw participation by Gravity Holdings. Sources said the blended valuation of the round was around $950 million.
