Kanye West's empire is taking a major financial hit. This week, Adidas announced that it had sold its final shoe from his brand, Yeezy. The music mogul was dropped from the partnership after he made some extremely offensive remarks.

Adidas has officially severed its ties with controversial rapper and designer Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, after selling off its final batch of Yeezy sneakers. The sportswear giant announced yesterday it had cleared its remaining stock of the once-popular sneaker brand it developed with the artist.

Adidas confirmed the complete liquidation of Kanye West's Yeezy stock, stating in an earnings call, 'that episode is behind us.'

Adidas has sold the last remaining pair of Yeezy trainers- more than two years after cutting ties with controversial musician Kanye West. Contributions were made to organisations including the Anti-Defamation League and Robert Kraft's Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

Over two years ago, the sportswear brand parted ways with the controversial rapper due to his antisemitic comments.
