Concacaf Champions Cup has reached the round of 16 and with it comes an all Liga MX matchup with a twist. Chivas Guadalajara and Club America will meet in El Super Clasico, one of the most historic rivalries in Mexican soccer.

Inter Miami will face off against Cavalier FC in the first leg of the CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16 on Thursday night at Chase Stadium.

Thanks to an own-goal in the 77th minute, Chivas took the win in the Clasico Nacional. The Aguilas played a terrible game in front of goal but Chivas played their cards just right. Especially recently appointed head coach Gerardo Espinoza who did his homework and prepared his players right.

Despite their efforts to equalize in the closing stages, Chivas held their ground, keeping a clean sheet and boosting their chances of knocking out their fierce rivals. Also read:
