The Pittsburgh Steelers have acquired Pro Bowl wide receiver DK Metcalf in a trade with the Seattle Seahawks. Metcalf, 27, cost Pittsburgh a second-round selection at the upcoming 2025 NFL draft. In addition, he's getting a massive new contract from the Steelers, a five-year, $150 million deal according to various reports including NFL Network:

After getting traded twice in the last year, former Rams LB Ernest Jones has earned a $33 million extension with the Seahawks

It has been a tumultuous week for the Seattle Seahawks, but finally, some good news has emerged from the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton! On Sunday evening, it was announced the Seahawks had come to terms with impending free agent linebacker Ernest Jones IV.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Ernest Jones has agreed to a three-year contract to stay with the Seahawks. The initial report indicates Jones’ deal is worth $33 million with $15 million guaranteed.
