Adventure Time is a Cartoon Network show made by Pendleton Ward. It involves Finn the Human and Jake the Dog (who are best friends) who live together and go on adventures.

The Spiky People are bipedal creatures that appear in the episode " Gut Grinder." They inhabit an unnamed desert region, possibly related to the Desert of Doom. As their name implies, the Spiky People are covered from head to foot in sharp spikes. They have very tall, conical bodies, short legs, and long arms with no fingers or hands.

On a mission to save soldiers of Hot Dog Princess, Finn and Jake go inside a massive maze where wishes can be granted and where Jake's stretching powers are pushed to their limits. The episode starts with Finn and Jake looking at the night sky with Hot Dog Princess at her house.

Spike (full title: Spike the Dog) is a character who was first introduced in Spike. He is an old nemesis of Jake and wants to steal Lady away from him, when that doesn't work he kidnaps the kids. His fate is to crash during a rollercoaster chase in the episode, Lady and the Kids.
