Reptile Heating Pad To Keep LFP Batteries Warm?
Oct 11, 2023 · There has been a few discussions on self heating LFP or using external heaters and it occurred to me I used to have an iguana and used a small pad heater in the tank that actually got very warm and used low watts. Battery heating, yes, I read the threads | DIY Solar Power Forum
Jun 29, 2021 · I put one pad on each long side of the battery. An off-the-shelf battery is a little more inefficient to heat since the pads won't be in direct contact with the cells. My heating pads are self adhesive. That sounds like a bad thing for the couple reasons. First, I'm not sure how easily the pad could be transferred to a new set of cells, if at all.

Mar 20, 2022 · Thats what I was thinking of doing if I had to use a lower voltage unit to control the heating pads. I will have a 48v-12v converter to operate 12v lights and the powered awning on the trailer. I do not have one yet, just haven't sized it yet. Currently it is a 12v deep cycle battery on the trailer that charges off the vehicle while towing.
