Before even reading this post I uninstalled Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 10, restarted, checked to make sure that the Internet Explorer 11 box was unchecked, and then hit the Internet Explorer 11 shortcut on the task bar.

Aug 3, 2022 · I am using Windows 10 Version 21H2, Build 19044.1865, Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0. Internet Explorer 11 used to be included. Somehow I did something to eliminate it. I have tried all the so-called tricks to find internetexplorer.exe but it's just not there. IE compatibility mode doesn't work in Edge either.
