The Scout Rangers, known officially as the First Scout Ranger Regiment, [1] is a special operations forces of the Philippine Army (PA) that specialized in combat patrol and scouting behind enemy lines with special operations forces (SOF) style.

The First Scout Ranger Regiment is known by a number of nicknames including: Musangs; FSSR; Strikers; Rangers; SR; and Scout Rangers. The regiment is one of several units that form part of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Special Operations Command (AFPSOCOM).
