When you arrive, we have people in parking areas and at front doors to help you. Everyone must use the following entrances. HealthyHoos is a secure online patient portal, that allows UVA students to schedule appointments online and have convenient, 24-hour access to personal health information. To login to HealthyHoos, students should use their Netbadge ID.

Prior to your enrollment, information about your health and immunization status is required by Virginia law and College policy to be submitted to UVA Student and Employee Health Wise. Download the Pre-Entrance Health Packet. The Pre-Entrance Health Packet can be printed or you may call 276-376-3475 to request that a copy be mailed to you.

At each entrance, you'll find Welcome Team members who will be happy to assist you. They can help you with: Wheelchairs; In-hospital transportation; information for visiting; Shuttle Service. Passenger shuttle service runs regularly between UVA Health clinical sites, selected parking areas, and guest lodging facilities.

The pre-entrance health form is required for matriculation. The form requires information regarding immunizations and tuberculosis screening. While the form does not require a physical exam, we do recommend that you meet with your local physician before coming to school to ensure that plans are in place to ensure a smooth transition to school.

Your completed Health Packet must be submied to UVA Student and Employee Health Wise by 5 pm on August 1 for students entering in the fall semester and by 5 on January 2 for students entering in the spring Complete the Pre‐Entrance Health Record (pp. 1‐4),

All incoming students must submit UVA’s Pre-Entrance Health Record by August 1, 2024. The form must be submitted by uploading to the secure website www.healthyhoos.virginia.edu. You will need to enter your NetBadge credentials in order to upload your form.
