Look at how beautifully Elle Fanning & Lily James portrayed these classic princesses a decade ago. Times have changed now. People are angrier, and Disney thinks we don't want a princess as sweet as OG Snow White.

Snow White and the Rey movie are two certified flops waiting to happen, one got pushed to 2025 and the other got pushed to 2026, I’m assuming they’d don’t want to admit defeat/ get dragged for cancelling two female led projects otherwise any smart business person would’ve cancelled these two projects a long time ago.

Snow White's appearance is absolutely crucial to the film's plot; it's literally central to the villain's motivation! Regardless, we saw how international audiences reacted to The Little Mermaid , and that was a case in which the main character's skin colour really didn't matter for the plot.

But with Snow White the opening lines include “skin as white as snow”.... Maybe they’ll find a workaround for that though, a different origin to her getting the name Snow White?
